With over fifteen years of experience in the art world, Genny Boccardo-Dubey has worked in both the private and public sector. She holds a B.A. in international relations from the University of San Diego, an M.B.A. in international business and marketing from the University of San Francisco, and an M.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from Case Western Reserve University, a program closely associated with the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Genny is the Chief Operating Officer of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, prior to this she was the associate director of member programs at the Orange County Museum of Art, a development manager and membership manager for the Tate London where she worked with the African Art and Photography acquisitions committees. She founded a contemporary art gallery in Cleveland, Ohio and for eight years ran an active and successful exhibitions program, representing regional and international contemporary artists working in diverse media.

One of Genny’s first positions in the art world was as the communications manager for Laguna Art Museum in the late 1990s. Most recently she was Deputy Director at Laguna Art Museum where she worked closely with the Executive Director and Board of Trustees to assure alignment of goals and budgets, and to communicate the importance of art for all audiences to the philanthropic community for the advancement of the museum’s mission.
